Marin Hinkle (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Two and a Half Men, Once and Again), gave a heartwarming tribute to Aline Shader, her drama teacher at Bowen Elementary School, during a concert of Aline’s songs performed by members of Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and the Boston Children’s Chorus at Berklee Performance Center in Boston MA.

Marin commended teachers of the arts who “create a path that people will forever take.” Wondering why so many of her classmates pursued the arts professionally, Marin concluded her homage saying: “Was it something in the water in Newton? But it wasn’t. It was Aline Shader.”
